All of our bikes, parts and accessories can be returned within 30 days from the date of delivery for an exchange or refund. You can test ride the bike in this period, but it needs to be retuned in clean and sellable condition, in it's orginal packaging.

Rides like an absolute dream and looks awesome too. I've ridden quite a few bikes over the years but this one just feels incredible, not the lightest obviously but still nimble and just glides along. The Temple team were very helpful with my order when I changed it after placing it as well. Looking forward to many years of riding and adventures!

I love my Temple classic tour. It's taken me everywhere. A 100km ride from Bristol to Dorset, my 24km commute to-and-from work every day in Edinburgh, to great pubs down cobbled lanes, up hills on dirt roads and across gravel paths by the sea. Have had it for a year now, it'll be taking me on plenty more trips over the summer. Such a handsome little thing that does everything I could want it to.
I bought my classic tour in the autumn sale last year, been using it pretty much for commuting and stuff around town as the weather has been utterly awful for the last seven months, so bigger, more leisurely rides have been put off. I love it! It arrived in just over a week, it was easy to set up, all the gears were indexed perfectly, got it set up with the kickstand, mudguards, rear rack, lock holster, a lovely brooks saddle (which was a labour of love in terms of breaking it in, but worth it) and leather bar tape. The range of gears is perfect for where I live (Isle of Wight) as the landscape has its ups and downs, and you’re always going in to a headwind it seems. My workmates who cycle in as well all had an appreciative comment to say about it, the classic look of the bike really does help to get people talking. It’s one of those bikes that makes you want to take out and ride it everywhere, any excuse will do. Currently have a 100km ride to look forward to on it next month, and I cannot wait!
Very happy with the Classic Tour having just returned from a trip down the "Vennbahn", Aachen to Luxembourg and back home to Belgium - the first extended run I've had on it. It's fast, light, attractive and - so far - reliable. I've been riding a Patria Terra for many years on longer rides where I carried more equipment - I love it too, but its size & weight can be limiting if I need to transport it to and from the start and end point if they are not my home, or if I'm riding in a group who want to go more quickly. Looking forward to using the Tour for daily commutes as well as more, longer rides. Equally happy too with Temple's customer service. The rear rack was damaged by the courier and there was an issue with the front brakes. Temple replaced both and also offered to reimburse import tax costs for these (as I am outside UK). Temple were always quick to reply & helpful in resolving these issues.

Excellent machine, well built and rides nicely too. Bought the medium size which works ok for me, ( I'm 5 foot 11) but could have gone for the large which would have worked equally well. Pleased I chose Temple Cycles rather than a mass produced brand.
First time buying a brand new bike and it's absolutely lovely. Really minimal set-up. Only weird thing is that the supplied bell doesn't actually fit on the handlebars as their diameter is too high.

Great bike. Looks good. Light. Responsive. Only slight downer (probably my fault) was slight inflexibility - I wanted a higher stem but had to buy it with the Temple stem so I had to have all the cables changed later. Hand grips quite hard too. But overall very good. Thank you.
I love my Classic Tour I love my Classic Tour! I bought this baby just before lockdown after visiting the Brick Lane store for a test ride. I wanted a beautiful and reliable bike that I could use for running errands around town, but also one that had enough gears to allow me to escape on a longer trip. The Temple team couldn't have been more friendly or helpful, and were super accommodating whilst I asked questions and tried out several bikes.
Classic Tour I’m really happy with both the bike and the service at Temple Cycles!! The shipment to Norway went smoothly and faster than expected and I got help along the way with questions concerning toll and delivery. I got a Classic Tour bike in yellow and it is absolutely beautiful. I use it on my 30min commute and I’m very happy with it.

Destined to become great friends I eventually ordered the bike after much deliberation and faffing around. The bike was delivered just a few days after the order was placed, what a welcome surprise these days! The bike is excellent; looks great, rides even better and drew many admiring comments from my riding friends. A bit of tweaking to get the riding position how I want it, changing the pedals to my preferred make and type (Look) and off we went. My daily ride is an electric gravel bike; super modern and good to ride, but the Temple put a massive smile on my face. The gears shift flawlessly and the brakes work well, although it's going to take a bit of time for my reliance on hydraulic disc brakes to be recalibrated onto rim brakes. The colour (Mustard) is deep and finish flawless. The bike is comfortable, (as is the Bristol saddle), it all feels very stable and as the title states, me and this bike are destined to become great friends, hopefully over many years.
Love the bicycle, vintage looks with all the convenience of a modern bike I received my bicycle about a month ago and so far I've got about 700 km on it. It's quite enjoyable to ride. It has been quite comfortable to ride for 50-60 km stretches at a time (that's about the limit of my endurance at present - I don't doubt that it will continue to be comfortable as I ride farther). It feels lighter than I expected for its weight and it handles very nicely (though I have yet to try riding it loaded with anything beyond a little toolkit. And of course, the looks, it's a really nice looking bicycle with a vintage vibe to it. I find myself looking forward to the weekends so that I can get out pedaling!
Lovely bike but problems with tyres I'll start with the negatives. The bike is quite heavy and a little slow off the mark. The handling doesn't feel very responsive compared to a road bike (you have to slow down to a crawl if making a right turn on a roundabout). The mudguard catches on the front tyre as there's very little clearance. After just two months I had a problem with the rear tyre - it popped out the rim, caught on the mudguard and needed replacing entirely. I was unable to get hold of the original tyre style and ended up swapping both tyres so they'd match - at a cost of £110. Now for the positives. The Classic Tour is a lovely looking bike, especially if you pair the premium leather bar tape with a matching Brooks saddle. It glides along the tarmac really smoothly and feels more comfortable than a road bike. It's also quite a versatile bike, good for longer rides and also practical for shopping. Better than I expected on hills too.

Classic Tour review Excellent bike, service and accessory products
Great looking bike! I've taken the Classic Tour out for a few rides now, it feels very responsive, gear shifts are crisp and it has already received a few compliments on it's great looks! I'd recommend it to anyone considering buying one, more comfortable on the tarmac than a path. I've marked down 1 star, mainly to do with the build. The gear cable servicing the rear derailleur was caught underneath the bottom kickstand plate, so when I released it I had to adjust the tension to stop some skipping. Furthermore the kickstand itself was not secured tightly meaning it twisted outwards after a period of use and the pedal crank arm would clip it when pedalling, had to kick back under bike before continuing and then tighten the bolt when I got home.
Perfect tourer I've used this all of summer 2021 for day trips, a few tours and general errands. Couldn't recommend it more! The service, quality and overall experience was amazing.

Classic tour purchase Great experience, after a lot of research I decided to buy the Classic. All the reviews are spot on. It's a great looking bike and a super smooth ride. Yes it's heavier than carbon but doesn't feel it when you ride it. Love it.
Great Bike and Amazing Customer Service I ordered my Temple Classic Tour less than a week ago and have received it already (way faster than the usual lead time) the bike arrived well packaged along with my extras already bolted on. The front mud guard was unfortunately damaged in transit causing it to bend and touch the front tyre. I emailed Temple along with photos showing the damage and received a response within a few hours apologising and a new set of mudguards were on the way to me! That customer service alone is a great reason to buy one of these bikes. The bike itself is excellent. After removing the damaged front mudguard I went for a short ride before it started raining. Crisp gear changes, perfect response and steering and it feels incredibly lightweight. If you're not sure about buying a Temple bike, don't hesitate, they're great and I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Classic tour is brilliant Just bought a classic tour and it arrived much quicker than expected. It looks great and is super smooth to ride. It's heavier than carbon bikes but really doesn't feel it. The lichen green colour is amazing and I love the thin retro steel tubes. In addition the bike came with the free lights and lock. Thanks to everyone at Temple.

Lovely bike- tortuous wait! I’ve waited a week to ensure that my frustration over the delay in delivery- six weeks over the 18/20 expectation - didn’t cloud my review of the bike. I understand the global supply problems in bike parts at the moment but the folk at Temple were probably a bit over-optimistic about timescales on the occasions I contacted them. The bike is everything I’d hoped. It’s smooth, fast, well put together and a thing of beauty. The gearing is right and it’s comfortable, well as comfortable as a new Brooks saddle can be before it softens. I’d had a steel bike years ago and regretted giving it away. This has all the charm and originality but all the modern updates. I collected it from the London store and they were helpful. I’m enjoying the bike enormously and I’d recommend a Temple bike to anyone....hopefully the delays were a one-off.

A lovely classic styled bicycle. A lightweight traditional steel framed bicycle with nice quality components that cycles well. The gearing on my Classic Tour cope well with the hills in my native Cumbria. If I have a negative it’s that a wider range of colours might be nice to have although I love my Lichen Green which goes well with the brown leather.
My temple classic tourer This bike is amazing!! I've been cycling in and off for about 40 years and this is just the best bike I've ever had . It's balance is stunning and rideability perfect. The wait time wasn't as long as I thought either I love my temple ❤️

Classic Tour in Lichen Green I had been contemplating the purchase for a while. I was attracted by the classic looks and I love riding steel bikes. Communication from the Temple team throughout the process was great and the bike arrived 6 weeks ahead of schedule which was amazing. It was easy to assemble out of box and rides like it looks. A truly stunning bike that I would recommend very highly! Looking forward to some long days in the saddle this year.
Second Bike - both times happy Purchased myself a classic tour after purchasing my Wife a classic lightweight earlier in 2020. We are incredibly happy with both bikes and love the design / quality. The wait may have been long (though I was advised at the time of purchase) but it was worth the wait.
100% Satisfied I have ordered the Classic Tour model a while ago and I absolutely love it! In the first place I was actually quite skeptical if it’s a good idea to order a bike from the U.K. since I am located in Germany. Additionally the build-to-order production time was about 15 weeks at that time. But still I decided to place the order and I was not disappointed. During this period I was in contact with the team quite a few times and they were very friendly and updated me continuously on my order status. Even a subsequent order adjustment wasn’t a big deal and I kept my place in the production schedule. The bike arrived safe in time, despite the COVID-19 pandemic and it’s restrictions and the quality is exactly how it is described in all these great reviews. Even that I am not talented with my hands assembling the rest of the bike parts was a breeze. For me, personally, I would never want to ride another bike! Well, ok, except the adventure disc model! ,-) Thanks again to Matt, Dexter and the rest of the team!
Classic tour Bike is absolutely fantastic, very smooth and comfortable to ride and took no time to get used to the bar end shifters which are new to me. Only downside is production was due to be completed around February until I suddenly had an email informing me the bike had been dispatched and was arriving on Christmas Eve! A nice Christmas present but a bit more warning would have been appreciated!
