My Temple bike, which I’ve been riding for a year and think it is great. Speedy and can handle the hills and roads where I live. It’s a smart looking bike too. In the last month or so a pannier/ rucksack bag and water bottle cage has been added to the outfit. Never had these before. The picture of the bike was taken at Portnencross today.

I bought one myself, but had to get another for my partner so she wouldn't be jealous anymore. It's great if you are petite or don't have much to carry. I like that it can convert into a rucksack and has solid metal buckles. It is good value for money, in my opinion. The only complaint would be that the colour wears off with friction, although I think it still looks good afterwards.
Got this backpack for my partner for Christmas and he's so so happy with it! Perfect size and super comfortable to wear. Great construction!

I love my new Temple Pannier Backpack! I was hesitant about the size and whether or not it would fit my laptop, but received a lot of support and assistance from Ben who fielded all of my questions and helped me sort out all the details. This backpack is perfect for my daily commutes to the office, large enough for my laptop, iPad, charging cables, lunch, and other necessities. The roll top design means there's extra room to stuff my coat in at the end of the day for the ride or walk home.
There's lots I love about this bag, but a few things that make it a bit awkward. I love the sustainability, it looks great, and most of the conversion process is quick and east. BUT it's very difficult to get the pannier backing into its pocket in order to wear the rucksack, it can be fiddly to attach to my (Temple) bike, and the bottom fastening has a long bit with nowhere to keep it fastened away from the wheel. It's also quite a bit smaller than I expected, which is nice for some trips but it's no replacement for my previous pannier rucksack, which is gradually falling apart.
Beautiful and functional! Can fit everything I would need in a city backpack - around 20L: (14inch MacBook Pro, iPad Air, Tech Pouch, Lunch bag and jumper in the main compartment, with a 0.5l water bottle in the side compartment and a D-Lock in the front pocket. For future iterations I would love a waterproof version in a more technical fabric and maybe a slightly easier to use carabiner for the pannier attachment. Some reviews make the attachment process out to be really bad but I think it’s fine given that other pannier/backpacks with a hooking mechanism look ugly and uncomfortable to use as backpacks.
I wanted the right panniers for my Temple bike. The quality of the panniers is superb. My only niggle is having to use a QR Code to find out how to attach them. I would have preferred a simple diagram in the package.
The bag is mostly great - great for space, nice material and looks good. My only issue is the carabiners that attach the bag to the rack - they are incredibly awkward when trying to take the bag off the bike which can be a bit stressful when you're in a rush!
Well It’s a tricky one I want to like it The straps to attach to the rack are a right faff even more so when the packs full really difficult and I’m a big strong chap with hands and forearms like a gorilla. Aside from that the packs comfortable to wear and I can add it to the top of the pannier rack if can’t be arsed with connectors and use the bungee cord already on the bike. The metal clips are wearing already which might be a coating wearing off although it’s not a good idea after 10 hours of use. Despite me asking temple about what to use to re proof the pack I’m none the wiser any thoughts about this? Is it ok ? Probably ok at the price point but looks snazzy and will dirty up nicely. I like the zip pocket and the small reflective strip. Time will tell Would I buy another one? Nope.
The team at Temple bikes were great. Brought my bike online and they were really responsive to emails and gave good guidance. I love the look of the pannier bag but it’s difficult to get on and off, especially if it’s full.
The bag looks lovely, and is great for taking into university. I feel secure with the roll down top, and the bottle sides are useful. However- it is a struggle to fit everything you need for a day, including laptop , lunch and a jacket, due to the small size. Furthermore, when full it becomes almost impossible to put a water bottle in the side pockets .

Really high quality bag, looks great and surprisingly spacious! Switching between Pannier and backpack is super quick and easy. As other reviews have said, a bit fiddly to attach sometimes, but well worth it for having 3 points of attachment to the bike! Would definitely recommend!!!

The bag is so practical without looking ugly. It's good as a back pack and as a pannier bag. The clips are strong and easy to use and been in multiple downfalls with the bag and contents stay dry. Would recommend to anyone. Maybe more colours in the future?
Almost perfect, transitioning from backpack to pannier bag and vice versa takes getting used to in order to do it fast. Wish it was bigger and less stiff.
Enjoy using it, and I feel like my laptop is safe and secure when cycling. You quickly get used to clipping it on and off, though a bit fiddly initially. On the whole, I love having it as it relieves my back from carrying heavy loads and is just a handy little knapsack

It's a lovely bag, nice colour and cool design! Very pleased it fits my laptop which is quite big - not in the laptop pocket but I don't mind that. Only thing is it can be quite fiddly to get on and off the pannier rack, which can be annoying when in a rush! Hopefully it lasts a long time too.
Backpack feels great, looks great, and the panier system works well! You can appreciate the design that went into the item.
The only stylish bag I could find that is equally functional as a backpack and a pannier - the design is great, it has done the job well for me so far. As others note it feels a little fiddly to attach at first but it becomes easier as you become accustomed to it. My only gripe is that one of my 'clips' is facing the wrong way but its not a big issue. Would be great if they brought out a rust colour!
Very pleased so far with this backpack. I got it as a replacement for an Alban pannier rucksack (which was stolen from the pub!) and I wasn’t sure whether to get another Alban or get this Temple bag, but I went for the Temple due to the nice colour & cheaper price. Compared to the Alban, the pannier attachments are definitely more fiddly, but not too bad once I’d learned where they fit best on my bike. I think the way they are sewn into the seams of the pack seems good for long term robustness. I’ve just been leaving the fold out flap permanently out, which speeds up attaching the bag to the bike, and still works fine as a backpack too as you can just untuck the shoulder straps from the flap. Where this backpack definitely wins over the Alban is on comfort as a backpack - it’s a lighter bag & the straps are comfy, whereas the karabiner clips on the Alban straps always dug into my back. The only tweak I would make is that the water bottle pockets are quite small for a water bottle! It would also be good if you could please list the volume capacity of the rucksack on the website - I couldn’t find it before buying!

Please give your product designer head a raise for making this bag. It's amazing, hands down. My SO has eyed it several times and thought about purchasing one for himself were it not for the insane shipping hurdles. By the way, PLEASE look at selling this bag directly in the US, you guys make great products.

Its a great bag, really well made and very beautiful. It's really easy to convert from pannier into rucksack. I agree with other reviewers that some strong dark colour choices would be nice. I'd give it five stars, but it's a little tricky to get on the rack.
