CURRENT OPEN POSITIONS:
Are you passionate about building bicycles? We are looking for a Bike Mechanic to join our Clifton workshop team on a fixed-term contract for 2 months, from July to August 2026. This part-time role is perfect for someone with strong mechanical skills who is looking for a seasonal job at a dynamic brand in the bicycle industry.
Primary responsibilities
- Assemble and safety check (PDI) Temple bikes for customers & test rides
- Carry out 6-week checks and basic maintenance
- Carry out repairs and upgrades
- Carry out inspections for warranty or insurance purposes
- Fit accessories to bikes such as mudguards and pannier racks
- Assist with workshop operations (receiving shipments, adjusting stock levels, boxing goods for shipping, clearing waste etc)

- Fixed term contract (2 months; July - August 2026)
- Part-Time, 3 days a week; 9am-5:30pm (flexible weekdays)
- Start Date: July
- End Date: 31st August 2026
- Location: 167 Whiteladies Road, Bristol, UK.

About you
The ideal candidate will have a passion for bikes and a desire to provide an excellent customer experience. Demonstrable mechanical skills, product knowledge and bike mechanics in a commercial setting are required.
Nice to haves:
- Prior retail experience
- Prior bicycle mechanic training & experience
- Cytech qualifications

We’re looking for a friendly, confident Store Host to join the team at our Bristol HQ on Whiteladies Road.
This role is about far more than retail. You’ll be a key part of delivering a warm, thoughtful, and personal experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
You’ll take time to understand each customer as an individual, whether they’re buying their first bike, or fine-tuning a long-term companion. Working closely with our wider store team and mechanics, you’ll help guide customers towards the right bike, servicing, or accessories for their needs, supporting sales through to completion and contributing to the store’s overall success.
Key Responsibilities
- Hosting customers in store and delivering a friendly, knowledgeable, and personalised experience
- Assisting with bicycle sales, test rides, 6 week checks, and quotations
- Handling POS transactions with confidence, whether it’s sales, refunds or exchanges
- Supporting both in-store and online customer enquiries (using our helpdesk - Gorgias)
- Assisting with basic mechanical queries where appropriate
- Carrying out safety checks on bikes ahead of test rides
- Maintaining the shop floor and workshop to a high standard, replenishing stock and keeping a tidy space
- Opening and closing the store when required
- Supporting in-store events where appropriate
What We’re Looking For
- A warm, approachable, and attentive communicator
- Genuine interest in cycling
- Organised, reliable, and comfortable taking initiative
- Able to balance customer experience with commercial awareness
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to commit to working Saturdays
Bonus Skills
- Retail experience for a premium brand
- Bicycle mechanics, or hands-on experience servicing and repairing bikes
- Experience using Shopify/Gorgias /Notion
